Biscarrosse is located on the Atlantic coast north of the Landes, near the dune of Pilat and the Bassin d´Arcachon. It is a multi-atmosphere / multi-activity destination:

The port of Navarrosse is 800 m from the campsite.
The fine sandy beaches of the lake are laid out over several kilometers with shallow depth, calm and transparent waters. Some are supervised in season.

The Landes forest is mainly made up of pines, it is present over 13,000 hectares in Biscarrosse.
Cycling & hiking await you for a breath of fresh air with its 50 km of cycle paths and 8 hiking trails from 6 to 11 km between forest paths and lakeside.
Biscarrosse golf course is 5 km from the campsite. It offers 2 courses of varying difficulty between the forest and the lake: an 18 all-round and a 9-hole course, with a practice of 25 positions.
Go back in time by visiting the Historical Museum of Hydraviation installed on the site of the former Latécoère base. Some exhibits are wrecks sunk in the lake during World War II (the German occupiers had made it a military site) and subsequently refloated. The lake hosted an important hydrobase which was used by Aéropostale and the Latécoère and Air France companies as an international airport for transatlantic flights. The adventure began in 1929.
